ROLE OVERVIEW
The Uniform Designer will create complete uniform solutions including styling, color palettes, detailing, fabric recommendations, and technical specifications. This role requires creativity merged with practicality, durability, and brand identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design uniforms for schools, corporates, hospitals, hotels, security forces, and industries.
- Develop design boards, sketches, tech packs, and measurement charts.
- Select suitable fabrics, trims, and accessories based on environment & usage.
- Visit client premises for requirement analysis and design consultation.
- Work with sampling & production teams to translate designs into final garments.
- Align design with brand identity, comfort, durability, and cost.
- Develop seasonal uniform concepts and upgrade existing designs.
- Ensure stitching, fitting, and finishing meet design intent.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (3–5 YEARS)
- Strong portfolio of uniform or workwear design.
- Knowledge of pattern making & garment construction (bonus).
- Experience with CAD tools (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, CLO3D preferred).
